Got a bit further on the first story pass on Zoë Book 6. This is usually the edit I enjoy the most ’cause it’s where I can take a good look at the story as a whole, add in things, take out things… I likes it, but it’s reeeally time consuming. Once this edit’s done, then it’ll go through about 2 to 3 more passes, and each pass will be looking for something different.

The Day’s Events. No errands today, so I was able to dig in this morning and edit for about four hours. I like to take out blocks of time and dedicate them to a purpose. If I find I’ve only got an hour or so before I have to get up and go do something, I’m more likely to answer email or read or empty out the dishwasher.
Bigger Event. Today was the first day of the first online workshop I’ve ever taken. It’s being offered by WMG Publishing on “Pitches and Blurbs” which is something I need. The workshop runs for 6 weeks. Yeah I know… “And you want to create how many new words at the same time?” I’m stoked. I haven’t had time today to start on it. Karate day. Should have been yard work day too, but the ground’s too wet and I have to use a push mower.
