Starting over on a website with nothing—and I mean nothing—is daunting. It’s got potential, but there’s really nothing more than a shell. And though it seems kinda sad, it’s also like starting fresh, which is how I am choosing to look at it.

The thing that took down my previous site was malicious code. And a lot of it. This can get in there any number of ways. And according to my previous hosting service, it did. But it wasn’t the code that prompted this complete host change and new site. It was the customer service, or lack of it. I start out with a clean frame, a clean site and a clean host.

What that means is no backlog of posts. This will be the first.

I thought I was going to use MUSE to create a new site, and I was halfway done before I realized it doesn’t have a blogging function. The only way to get a blog is to embed one from another site like Blogger. Uh…no. I need this as simple as possible. I’m already behind in everything…

Like, really behind in Chimes At Midnight, but I’m going to do my best to get that sucker out there. I also have the next Shadowrun story due to Catalyst August 1st. And I have a trip to New Orleans this month. o.O
